Golf Programs
At Piney Point Golf Club, our programs are designed to bring people together through the game of golf. From junior camps and high school team support to adult clinics and family golf events, we offer welcoming opportunities for players of all ages and experience levels to learn, grow, and enjoy time on the course. Whether you are starting a new family tradition, helping a young golfer build confidence, or improving your own game, Piney Point is a place where every swing can lead to lasting memories.
Adult Lessons and Golf Clinics
Whether you are picking up a club for the first time, returning to the game, or hoping to lower your score, Piney Point’s private golf instruction and Adult Golf Clinics make learning approachable and enjoyable.
Flexible class and clinic options let students choose the sessions that best fit their goals and schedules.
Designed for all skill levels, each clinic offers a welcoming small-group setting with at least three and no more than five students.
Rates vary based on the number of participants and clinic length, making it easy to find the right fit for your game.

High School Golf
Piney Point Golf Club is proud to support the next generation of golfers and partner with local high school teams. During the season, team members from area schools enjoy playing privileges that help them practice, compete, and build lasting memories on the course. Players should receive permission from their coach before calling to schedule a tee time if the coach is not arranging play that day. Piney Point is honored to serve as the home course for the South Stanly Rebel Bulls, the West Stanly Colts since 2018, and the North Stanly Comets since 2020.
Piney Point’s tradition of high school golf includes a standout South Stanly High School record set in 1985, when Steven Bunn, Bryan Pope, Eric Farmer, and Jeff Bowers posted an impressive team score of 285 against county rival Albemarle. Steven Bunn and Bryan Pope led the way with rounds of 62 and 68, respectively. That achievement followed an earlier team record of 288, held by players including Chuck Isenhour, David Hartley, Tim Robertson Jr., Robbie Sheffield, Ray Squires, Dale Honeycutt, and Kirk Honeycutt—part of the proud golf legacy families continue to celebrate at Piney Point.
